About Arizona Hemophilia Walk

Come out and support the needs of the bleeding disorders community with your family and friends at the 9th Annual Arizona Hemophilia Walk, a non-competitive 5K family-friendly walk at the Phoenix Zoo. 

What:  5K Walk that raises funds and awareness about hemophilia and other bleeding disorders. Participants join together to raise money locally for statewide programs, services, advocacy and education.

When:  Sunday, November 5, 2017

  • Pre-Walk Packet Pick-Up: 
    • Thursday, November 2:  Noon - 4 p.m.                                                                             
    •  Friday, November 3: Noon - 7 p.m.
  • Day of Packet Pick Up and Registration: 6:45 a.m. - 7:45 a.m.
  • Walk:  8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.

We’re seeking to raise $90,000 this year, and we need your help!

All participants will raise funds by collecting donations from their friends, family, and co-workers. Whether you wish to walk or simply register to be a fundraiser, your efforts will help improve the quality of life of those individuals and families affected by bleeding disorders. You will be providing caring support, quality education and targeted advocacy aimed at enhancing medical care and insurance coverage for the community.

Registration Fee 

You can register on-line and start your personal fundraising with a $25 minimum donation for adults or $5 minimum for ages 13 to 17; the minimum donation is not mandatory for children (12 years and younger). Each registered walker will receive a wrist band to enjoy all day admittance at the Phoenix Zoo as well as the option to receive a 2017 commemorative walk t-shirt. (Participants must register by October 7, 2017 to guarantee a t-shirt. For those who register after the deadline, while we cannot guarantee you will receive a t-shirt, we will do our best to fulfill your request.)

Sponsor a Participant 

It has never been easier to help an Arizona Hemophilia Association Community Member who may not be able to fund their own registration fee, but still wants to register to walk. If you are able to contribute an additional registration donation amount, we ask that you help “Sponsor a Participant” on the register page and we will apply those additional funds towards member registration on a first come first serve basis.
